I have Google Fi and live in an area with spotty cell coverage. There are two locations that seem to exhibit the following behvaior on my phone: my phone (which is set to English) will suddenly switch to the Spanish sites in Chrome. Instead of  resolving to the standard English Google site it will go to the Spanish site. Same with Yahoo and others. I&#x27;m not sure what the issue is or where the problem exists. I suspect the phone is connecting to a particular cell tower and somehow my session is getting mixed up with another phone? My service and signal strength is very weak in the area where this happens often downgrading from 5G to LTE. I am in an area with a large Spanish speaking population. Is this a phone issue, Google Fi issue, cell tower &#x2F; service carrier (Google Fi uses a few carriers IIRC) issue? Anyone else experience something like this before? I&#x27;m trying to debug and figure out what&#x27;s going on. If anyone has contacts at Google Fi, I&#x27;m willing to work with them if they care to also try to track down and resolve the issue. I work in an entry level position as a call taker at a Bank. I was given a small project to work on that would involve creating a database and VBA form that would allow our managers to select weekend schedules. It quickly ballooned into an entire application as more and more things were asked to be added, and I spent 3 months working on it. During this time I asked about raises, or if there was a different position I could be moved to since this had become a full-time project, and I was told that I was being a &quot;Team Player&quot; and that &quot;Goes a long way&quot;.I would like to note here that any time I spend working on this instead of taking phone calls reflects on my call statistics, and how those look affects everything from the schedules I am allowed to work to the opportunities I am offered. I talked to a few colleagues about how I could begin to step away from this, and was told that doing so would result in some kind of retaliation; that even if I wasn&#x27;t fired, I would essentially have no mobility within this company.At the start of this year, I had a meeting with my VP and expressed that I wanted to step away from it. I asked what functionality would be needed so that he could perform the maintenance himself, and we planned for me to work on it two days out of the month until May. The time I would be spending on it would be scheduled appropriately, and as a result wouldn&#x27;t affect my statistics.However, multiple times a week he would reach out and ask that I draft a new report, or perform some other kind of maintenance. It was slow, and would sometimes crash and break everything, but I would just need to port it over to an access form and all would be fine. Hi everyone, I am a backend developer using Spring Boot and Java. I also know some Angular. I had an app idea and wanted to build out the backend in either Kotlin+SpringBoot or Django+Python. Preface: I’m a student (in my 30’s, went back to school for an MS in CS), so I view this mostly as a learning exercise.I’ve been curious about crypto for a while, and recently started learning about ZK Proofs, Plonk, SNARKs, zkvms, etc.I wonder if an immediate application could be something along the lines of Bot proof&#x2F;proof of personhood, which seems to be a difficult problem and appears to be getting more difficult with AI (though correct me if I’m wrong). When I think about it, truly proving someone is a bot seems difficult without meeting them in real life and sitting side by side with them while they interact online. And yet, what if each of us could monitor our entire Internet activity i.e. locally store the packets we send and receive, and then provide a ZK-Proof of this history to anyone who asks during a login process. This would exist at the protocol level perhaps, or maybe built in to the browser. But the whole idea is that certain packets would be impossible for a bot to generate. Perhaps it is logging in to your bank, or paying your electricity bill, or logging into your health portal and using health data. Anything that connects to the real world. You would never want to show internet strangers&#x2F;services your bank statement or EMR information, but a ZK-Proof accomplishes exactly what we are looking for in this case - proof without revealing the underlying data.An alternative idea could be that the browsing history of a person might look very different than the history of a bot, thus creating a sort of digital fingerprint, though this seems like it could be faked with enough time and effort.I’m curious what folks think, especially those with experience&#x2F;expertise in the ZK&#x2F;crypto space. Sadly, the lcd screens are either not working, or impossible to read, or faintly visible.
This is a common problem think with a lot of electrics from the era. 
 I will focus on the Akai S3000XL. 
Its near mint. Everything clean, wonderful buttons, mint condition inside. 
Turns on spins the cdrom drive, checks the floppy.
but the screen while illuminated is entirely blank.
I can turn it on and off, and I can adjust the contract. 
All of which I have done without any improvement. 
Now I can easily fix this buying a replacement here

My network provider has turned off 3G and despite my current device supporting VoLTE appears to have blacklisted it on the basis of its model name and I cannot make calls any more.I like running rooted Android because of systemwide adblocking, the ability to run things like Frida and inspect or modify applications, and _ideally_ be something where I can get CTS_BASIC_INTEGRETY – my main bank (Monzo) works with other OSes and rooted phones quite happily, but having the ability to play the highly irritating fun and games is a bonus point. I despise remote attestation and DRM and ideally would have something that fails from the start (!). I&#x27;m aware of the security issues with running a rooted Android device; I just frankly don&#x27;t think that in my threat model that they are that severe. I pursued computer science because of the career prospect, the fact that the salary is not capped by regulators and I had the grades to get accepted in a program. I am not a senior developer, but am never out of work for more than 2 months in my entire 15+ years career with the up and down in tech. I live comfortably in a low-cost-of-living area. I am not looking for FIRE. I switched roles every few years so that I could learn new tech stacks and get perspective from different teams.The increased responsibilities of senior+roles are daunting. I&#x27;m 19. Just a week ago I was diagnosed with ADHD. Up until two weeks ago I didn&#x27;t believe ADHD is a real disease, I thought it&#x27;s a made up thing to sell drugs or whatever. Obviously I never googled it, never checked out what the symptoms are. Once I did, my 19 years on this world suddenly made sense. All the way from kindergarten to college, it couldn&#x27;t be any more obvious. Yet nobody noticed because 1) little people around me know anything about ADHD 2) ADHD runs in the family so it&#x27;s &quot;normal&quot; even though mine is more severe than my parents and 3) I was academically successful because thank God I have a high IQ. I relied on that my entire academic life. Come last years of high school and college, smarts wasn&#x27;t working anymore, like many others like me. At that point I had since long accepted I was &#x27;lazy&#x27; and &#x27;can&#x27;t study&#x27;.All my life I didn&#x27;t achieve anything of value unless I was extremely pressured or very hyped&#x2F;interested in very short timescales. I suffered from impulsivity, short temper and a bunch of addictions, some of which don&#x27;t even make sense. I was socially isolated because of my &#x27;weird&#x27; behavior, which is, looking back, is just various manifestations of seeking stimulation 24&#x2F;7. I was late most mornings to school bus, most appointments, most classes and exams in college. I used various off-the-brain ways and productivity software to manage my life because I couldn&#x27;t do it otherwise. All metrics of my life are on a downward slope since forever.Since starting medications I&#x27;m doing a world better. It&#x27;s absolutely amazing to be able to start a task and finish it. To just sit and be, without a thousand thoughts in my head. Unfortunately monitor mounted eye trackers are problematic for those with limited mobility and wheelchair-bound. From a positional standpoint there&#x27;s a lot of variability relative to a monitor.- Muscle fatigue causing posture changes such as head droop or leaning torso- A person&#x27;s position in the chair such as tilt or recline- Chair alignment to the monitor- Prescription glasses can interfere with trackingTobii eye tracker c4 can&#x27;t cope with this kind of environment. In addition Tobii does not really support the disabled community. Tobii restricts any other language besides C,C#,C++ via the Stream Engine or Interaction Library API. The creation of a wrapper to gather data to pipe to another language is prohibited in end-user license agreement. This severely hampers accessibility communities ability to create tools they need to thrive.Any recommendations for reasonably priced eye tracking hardware that are mounted to headset (not VR&#x2F;AR) preferably wireless that with a permissive software license?Thank you in advance!
